4 PASTORAL CARE | 4 CHAPEL SCHEDULE | 4 NEWS & EVENTS Pastoral Care In addition to our Chapel schedule, a full compliment of Pastoral Care services including spiritual support, visits, prayer, and sacramental ministry are available through the Pastoral Care Department. The Chaplain is on call 24 hours a day and is available to all who are part of the Chippewa Manor Community. Your own Clergy person is invited and encouraged to visit you. The Chaplain will contact them at your request.
A Prayer for the Chippewa Manor Authored by Chaplain Robert Hoekstra Bless, O Lord this place, set apart for the care of your people, and the benefit of this community: and grant that each one here may be comforted in spirit, soul and body. Grant, by Your divine grace, wisdom and strength to those who provide leadership in this place, that they may be examples of excellence, competence and compassion. Equip those called to labor in this place. Give them minds well trained, hands skilled in their tasks, and hearts filled with empathy for all who reside here. Give strength to those who recuperate: fill all hearts with joy and enthusiasm for the gift of each new day; and give hope to those who have fixed their eyes on things we as yet do no see - your eternal home. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
